So how are you Shamans enjoying this exploit? It's becomming more and more known now. Blizzard has yet to take action against this and I dont see them doing a damn thing anytime soon. So really, how fun is godmode?

For those that dont know yet.

The "GoA" exploit, involves your GoA totem, and im sure it works with your +str totem for i've seen pictures of various shamans with over 2,500 strength (agility too).

How it works: Mob debuffs -agi. I've heard it has negative effects too, like bringing your agi or str down to negative effects, or 1. Or if you work it properly, you gain insane stats (3,000/2,000) in agility or strength resulting in 100% dodge and crit, along with more damage than you can imagine.

Maybe if more and more shamans start using this blizzard will actually respond for once and DO SOMETHING. The point of this thread is to make this known, reporting it ingame is worthless for they dont listen, respond ever. Lets face it, we all know how horrible the customer service is and blues like to ignore major problems and respond to retarded threads that don't even matter and lock out threads that are in caps - oh noes!

Yeah, but you do need to be in a location from which they are not blocked.

Thanks for the pastage.

Heh, sorry, wasn't paying attention to the time of day (I have a shifted schedule so I think of now as still "nighttime").

Yeah, the way this works is that normally Grace of Air (Or strength of Earth) totems buff your Agility by a small amount when you cast them, and then the effect goes away when the totem dissapears.  However, appearently, if a mob debuffs your Agil (say through a curse) and you cast the totem, and then the curse runs out, you PERMANENTLY (untill you zone to a different contintnt/instance, or log or die)  keep the difference in Agil you gained back when the curse went away after the totem vanishes.  Repeat this prociedure ad infinitum to boost your agility up to the thousands, whereby you now have a nearly 99% chance to alway hit, always crit and always dodge mele attacks, and then go farm like a machine.

There was a big discussion about this in Thread (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?FN=wow-general&T=2207209&P=1) where some shaman was farming the elite Diremaul ogres and getting strings of continuous crits.  Plenty of teh drama and whatnot in there.

See,I heard differently.  The way I was told, if you use GoA or SoE in certain locations near zone lines and they run or something while you run out, then it fucks up. But we have 2 L60 shamans somewhere on this forum, and I was wondering what they had to say about it.

I don't want to be banned.  So, I haven't tried it.  Only thing I know about it is what I've read on the forums.

If I had a level 60 shaman I would not go near this but. Eventually the devs will decide to crack down on this and do you think they will not notice you if you have stats that are so out of wack? Its a good way to go hey I am a dip shit ban me.

I've got a 60 Shaman and I'm a risk taker and would try this to see if it actually works.  Anyone know of a high level zone with some mobs that debuff AGI?  I can't think of any off the top of my head.

eastern plaguelands, just north of the camp, there are zombies that cast a 10 min debuff. there is also a banshee that casts a 10 secondish to hit debuff, but i don't know if you have anything that boosts to hit

This sounds like the reverse of the hunter's Aspect of the Hawk bug, our agility decreases due to the bug (by the amount AotH would have buffed). I forget the particulars, I just don't use AotH much (hey, why would I want +120 attack power  )
