Well, I said I wasn't going to be a fanboi. And both Fabricated and I spent a LOT of time with our PSPs. Private time. You only saw what we thought was fit to print.

Or something.

So how many times did you stick it in your pants before actually turning on the PSP?

If God of War and Grand Theft Auto come out, it's a done deal for me. Nice reviews.

I think this is one of the "devices" that didn't infringe on the 'ol vibration patent. Too bad. Would have made it an even bigger seller with it being pocket sized.

2. Cheaper Memory Sticks, Bigger Sizes – Third party and first party memory sticks need to drop about 50% in price. The restrictions on movie resolution must be removed and you have to embrace third party applications.
What movie resolution restrictions?

Indeed, given that it's already been nicknamed the Porn Station Portable.

The maximum resolution on homemade movie conversions is 368x208. Which, honestly, is plenty good. In fact, it looks like it's much higher than that on the stellar PSP screen. But when/if UMD Writers come out, they need to up it to the full 480x272. A Full dvd (4.3-8.5GB) can easily be compressed onto a UMD (1.8GB) as that resolution.

Okay I see what you are talking about now. Man that bites. I already get the same VHS/VideoCD-quality video on my PDA (which uses far far cheaper SD media) so that's yet another reason to hold off on buying a PSP. I hope Sony releases a firmware upgrade that fixes their video player to allow full resolution video playback from MS Duo media.
