The vast majority of rap, "popular rap" if you will, that I have heard is just incredibly stupid and fake. For good, intelligent rap, pull out the old skool, Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy (yes, even Flava Flav stuff), shit even Dr. Dre and old Snoop. And Emenim. Hell, even Kid Rock was smarter than that shit. But it was still funny.
