If there is a punitive afterlife, I am guessing he is gonna catch some flack over his role in setting OJ free. OTOH, his existence made Jackie Chiles possible. Silver linings and whatnot. Cochran sure was flamboyant, and he did his job pretty goddamn well. Anyone that could get OJ off on that rap is a damn good lawyer. Unfortunately, he also brought us the vilification of Mark Furman and the embarrassment of the LA DA's office. I'll just be respectful and say he was very good at what he did.
