Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Comstar on June 11, 2018, 03:00:00 AM Highrock apparently - you can tell by the location of the mountains on the coast? So generic fantasy land I guess.
Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Falconeer on June 11, 2018, 03:25:44 AM PvP crossplay between PC, consoles and... mobile phones. AND, it will be released on mobile phones FIRST.

I was hoping due to all the foreshadowing in Skyrim they’d do Valenwood (or maybe even a combo Valenwood and Elsweyr or Summerset Isles map) so we could get an amazing set of varied forest biomes to explore. Plus hey, elven apocalypse. Though I guess there is nothing in that view that view that cant be summerset isles. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Lucas on June 11, 2018, 04:06:54 AM They'll probably keep milking the Tamriel regions one by one; honestly tho, I would like to see something a bit more epic and sprawling (taking a page from The Witcher 3), like a new conflict between Tamriel and Akavir (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Akavir_(Continent)); but I think that kind of approach will eventually be relegated to ESO (which I really like anyway).

Wrong game, that's Blades not ESVI.Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Falconeer on June 11, 2018, 05:17:40 AM You sure? Ok that's a relief.
Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Rendakor on June 11, 2018, 05:36:48 AM Yea, they're two different games. Blades comes out this year, ESIV comes out ? ? ? .
Edit: Accidental emoji. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Jeff Kelly on June 11, 2018, 06:55:22 AM Elder Scrolls: Blades = Free to Play, comes to consoles, PC, PC VR, iOS and Android with crossplay between all Systems. Coming this fall
Elder Scrolls VI= short teaser Trailer, coming after the next gen consoles have come out. single player Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Hawkbit on June 11, 2018, 08:15:42 AM \ Elder Scrolls VI= short teaser Trailer, coming after the next gen consoles have come out. single player Wait, did they say 'next gen' explicitly? Sony is predicting a PS5 in three years from now, which puts this game very far off in the future. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: schild on June 11, 2018, 09:22:34 AM This is way far off in the future. Starfield is coming first.

Sony is predicting a PS5 in three years from now, which puts this game very far off in the future. Todd Howard said it will come out after Starfield and he also said that they were targeting "Next Gen consoles" for Starfield. So this is far off. At least a few years. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Hawkbit on June 11, 2018, 11:18:06 AM Huh. Thanks for clarifying. The release date history on the franchise really got thrown out of wack.
1994 Arena 1996 Daggerfall 2002 Morrowind 2006 Daggerfall 2011 Skyrim 2021 BretonSex That puts 10 years between primary releases, which just seems odd. I suppose they're making money in other places now so no need to feel bothered. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: koro on June 11, 2018, 07:52:51 PM The team is also said to be wanting/needing a break from doing TES for a while, hence Starfield.

I suppose they're making money in other places now so no need to feel bothered. Elder Scrolls Online came out in 2014, so the time between ES games isn't quite 10 years. Of course, many people don't count ESO as a "proper" Elder Scrolls game but I've played it mostly solo and have had a lot of fun with it. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls VI Post by: Reg on June 11, 2018, 08:40:32 PM I've been tempted to try it out but there's been so many expansions I wouldn't even know how to start.
