However, I assume this is just going to be another show that gains a cult following then gets cancelled. It is a continuation of the film set years after the film with no overlap in significant characters...

Having the show be one guy who basically tries to reinstitute the pre-crime thing... not really that interesting. I might still watch it because it's cyberpunk but it's really going to need to blow my socks off.
