Title: Single-player recommendations? Post by: Viin on July 16, 2014, 07:44:48 PM I have a long international flight coming up, does anyone have any recommendations for single player games on iOS, particularly iPad?
I don't mind paying a little bit for a good game, but hate to spend the money without a recommendation. Title: Re: Single-player recommendations? Post by: Tebonas on July 17, 2014, 05:19:37 AM Any preferences genrewise?
I like to play boardgames on my iPad, "Lords of Waterdeep" and "Pandemic" are my current favorites in that regard. If you didn't play it to death already, FTL plays even better than on the PC thanks to the UI improvements. Hoplite (more Tactical combat simulation than strategy game, almost a Roguelike) Mindless Match-Em clicking games are dime-a-dozen. My favourite was has been Trism for quite some time, but I play those rarely and not actively hunt for them. Title: Re: Single-player recommendations? Title: Re: Single-player recommendations? Post by: Shannow on July 17, 2014, 06:39:47 AM Another vote for Lords of Waterdeep.
Sid Meier's Pirates and SWKTOR work well on the ipad as well. Title: Re: Single-player recommendations? Post by: IainC on July 17, 2014, 07:27:13 AM X-Com too but it's going to murder your battery life.

Title: Re: Single-player recommendations? Post by: JWIV on July 17, 2014, 09:05:27 AM I also believe MTG 2015 just got released if you want to go through the single campaign.
I"ve been toying around with Star Realms as well which has potential. Title: Re: Single-player recommendations? Post by: shiznitz on July 17, 2014, 10:33:57 AM It is $3.99 but I really enjoyed Monument Valley. It is a beautiful, creative puzzle game, but it will only last a few hours at most.
