Title: Firefox and Yahoo Mail. Post by: Kenrick on March 04, 2005, 04:59:52 PM Okay this has bugged me for a while now. When composing an email in IE, I get lots of nice little formatting buttons and such. You know -- bold, underline, italics, font, size, etc etc etc. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get that to work in Firefox. Anyone else experienced this? Or know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for your numerous helpful responses and ability to stay on topic. :-D Title: Re: Firefox and Yahoo Mail. Post by: schild on March 04, 2005, 05:00:44 PM I fixed it by getting gmail. Does Yahoo Mail offer a forwarding service?

Title: Re: Firefox and Yahoo Mail. Post by: Miasma on March 04, 2005, 06:18:04 PM That part of yahoo mail is only available in IE 5.5 and higher. (http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/send/send-28.html) You can try to go into mail options in the upper right of the screen, then general preferences, then select the radio button for use color and graphics, but it does nothing in Firefox. In IE it makes email go out as html instead of plain text allowing bold, italics and so on.
You are powerless against the dark side, come back to us. Title: Re: Firefox and Yahoo Mail. Post by: Miasma on March 04, 2005, 06:22:52 PM I fixed it by getting gmail. Does Yahoo Mail offer a forwarding service? An onion link that will probably only work this week. (http://www.theonion.com/nib/index.php?issue=4109&nib=4) |
