Barring an eleventh-hour addition, I'd say World of Tanks won this year.

Minecraft changed all the avatars to villagers. I was like . :ye_gods:

Then I realized when somebody online pointed it out.

That one confused me as I had actually had an issue with an altered avatard the first time I tried out my resource pack, but it went away. Then I found out the pack changed all the villagers to jawa (which sounds awesome but I want to punch them in the ootini), so I was hoping it wasn't some related issue.

When he pulled out the balloon i lost it. win!

My kid was convinced I was pranking her.  Threw a minor tantrum because I wouldn't change it back, but also doesn't yet understand internet pranks.  Ah, youth. 

I put red food coloring in my sons mac n cheese.... It resulted in waaaaaaay too many tears.

I told my kid he's going back to live with his real parents in Mexico.  Packed his shit, put him on the bus.

Something very similar can happen (or used to happen?) if your connection to mojang was spotty, since that's where your custom avatar is stored. So that's what I assumed was up last night, instead of thinking about what day it was  :grin:

That wasn't particularly funny until they had the dragon riding the horse
