Title: No More Room in Hell Post by: Mrbloodworth on November 04, 2013, 07:40:08 AM If you like Zombies, Specifically George A. Romero type. You should play this. But this is NOT left for dead ( In game play style, or Production ). Its indi, and just launched, so expect some bugs/issues.
No More Room in Hell Steam Release Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdmkLYYR1K4&feature=youtu.be) Quote "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." A tribute to the highly acclaimed film series in which the above quote originated from, No More Room in Hell (PC Gamer's Mod of the Year 2011, ModDB's Editor Choice Multiplayer Mod of the Year 2011), is a co-operative realistic first person survival horror modification for the Source Engine. Taking inspiration from George Romero's "Of the Dead" series, the mod is set during a time in which the world is on the verge of collapsing into chaos from a disease whose origin is unknown. Many experts and organizations have their theories and ideas on how such a disease emerged and started to systematically destroy our very way of life, but one fact is clear to all. Whoever perishes from the disease gets up and kills, and the people they killed get up and kill. The chances of you surviving this all out war of society and the undead are slim to none. Already, there are millions of the walking dead shambling about, searching for food to eat. There's no known cure. One bite can possibly end it all for you. However, you aren't alone in this nightmare. There are still a handful of uninfected survivors left in this god forsaken hellhole, and with co-operation and teamwork, you may live long enough to fight your way to salvation. Features:

Title: Re: No More Room in Hell Post by: Falconeer on November 05, 2013, 06:43:28 AM Giving this a spin tonight with a bunch of friends. I heard it is amazing as a lan party game, but also quite buggy and unpolished, which are pretty much the only criticisms my friend could move to it.
Title: Re: No More Room in Hell Post by: Mrbloodworth on November 05, 2013, 07:06:47 AM It is indeed slightly buggy, unpolished and kinda old school. But its also quite fun.
Title: Re: No More Room in Hell Post by: Falconeer on November 05, 2013, 04:19:09 PM Just spent a good couple of hours on this. It is indeed a lot of fun. It is also super-unpolished and it looks like a 2005 game, but I really really like the whole idea and some of the mechanics. Sadly, in its present state it won't last long. What it needs is for someone to pick it up and make it into a big thing. Problem is, it's the same thing we said about Day Z and the standalone was supposed to come out a year ago. Then War Z happened...
It is definitely worth the download and a stroll. I also want to add that playing with strangers is fun too, thanks to the proximity voice chat and a certain sense of paranoia that comes from dying party member suddenly turning into zombies. EDIT: And yes, melee is unacceptably bad. Title: Re: No More Room in Hell Post by: Mrbloodworth on November 12, 2013, 08:47:20 AM 1.07.2 Patch

Title: Re: No More Room in Hell Post by: Mrbloodworth on November 13, 2013, 11:58:27 AM They Definitely improved the Melee. We had a great time last night doing some Objective, and Survival missions. Also, not needing to type things into the console to set up multi-player helps.
