Title: Gaming Magazines
Post by: dusematic on August 30, 2013, 07:33:17 AM
Are there any remotely worth it even just for nostalgia left?  All I see is PC Gamer and Game Informer.

I don't know the answer to your question, but guessing by the fact that I don't know of any, I'm going to say NO.

The UK EDGE magazine was pretty good, but the cost to get it here in the states was not in my budget.

I stumbled on one of these in a train station bookstore not too long ago (https://www.imagineshop.co.uk/bookazines/retro-vol-5.html?utm_source=RetroGamer.net&utm_medium=product-widget-footer&utm_campaign=New-Product-Widget), transported me back to my childhood.

GamePro is dead, Nintendo Power is dead, EGM is dead, Play is dead I think. I can't think of any magazines besides the "official" console mags and game informer that aren't dead.

...what doesn't make you grind your teeth? Aside from Hex.
