f13.net

So yesterday around lunch time, f13 went down for me. No one else had the problem but I couldn't access the site from work. Web browsing other sites was fine but f13 just wouldn't work. I get home and am able to browse and login just fine. Get back to work this morning, same thing. The only way I can access f13 is through a proxybrowsing site. Since I can login, I know I'm not banned. Any way to tell if my sysadmin has blocked the F13 site? Traceroute shows it's trying to find the right IP but somewhere about halfway up the pipe, it just times out - it gets past my internal network here but stops midstream - which, along with no warning message about the site being blocked, leads me to believe the problem isn't my sysadmin suddenly locking down access. I've tried switching my DNS to Google's DNS, clearing my browsing data, multiple browsers, nothing.

Any ideas?

f13 has never sucked. Except when it was asked to very nicely and paid for the privilege.  :grin:

My f13 is no longer broken. I, however, make no promises for the rest of you.

I have this problem with wikipedia every 6 months for a day or two at work.  It's not banned, it just breaks halfway through the tracert.  A day or two later and everything is fine.
