The source added: "The Academy gets inundated with begging requests for tickets a year before the event. "The Kodak theatre can't take more than 3,500 guests. Halle Barry for Catwoman. Whoopi Goldberg. Howie Mandel. Hillary Swank. Even if she wins. Jennifer Garner because of Elektra. Ben Affleck because he's Ben Affleck. Anyone who has ever guest starred on a Reality show of any sort. Anyone who has ever hosted or been part of a show on MTV besides The State. Any sports stars. Any member of a pop/rock/folk group. ANY. Including Russel Crowe. Jack Black is ok though, because he's brilliant. Also, the entire cast and crew of I <3 Huckabees should protest the Oscars for being snubbed. Particularly Jon Brion for not getting a best original soundtrack nod. Ya know, they should just cancel the Oscars altogether. Buncha savages. Title: Re: No Academy Awards For You! We could call it the F13.net Screwed Awards, and we could give out the awards to all the movies that got overlooked by the academy and post it on the front page. Except Schild can't get to put anything from Japan or that was shown in a museum on there. :wink:
