The 6 launcher makes things easier to join and play, BUT its still laggy, buggy, awkward looking and once you've pushed past the bugginess, the bad inventory, have explained to your friend all the 'endearing' bugs and things to never do (don't swim!!! Yes you have to reload your hatchet...) you get shot by some douchenozzle on a hill with a sniper rifle, after being unable to find your friend in Pridgorodky for 10 minutes...
I'll wait and see if the standalone makes the game bearable before being gibbed by a PK'er from 200m away and losing 3 hours of my life again... They relaxed the F2P restrictions last month so all classes and dungeons are playable without a sub. And apparently they're still adding content. So there's that.
