Title: Warm Bodies Post by: Jamiko on November 10, 2012, 07:43:14 PM A bit of a twist on the typical zombie movie. I liked the book.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=x3ErWNBX9Rc This should be in Movies, not sure how I managed to drop it here... Thanks to Rasix for moving... Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Ginaz on November 10, 2012, 07:48:47 PM Err...
Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Evildrider on November 10, 2012, 08:13:58 PM It's finally happened.. the slow death of the Zombie genre.
Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Pennilenko on November 10, 2012, 08:31:30 PM The trailer looks fun, I don't understand why this signals the end of the zombie genre. I welcome this new take on the zombie experience.
Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Evildrider on November 10, 2012, 08:56:10 PM Zombies cured by love...
Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: pxib on November 10, 2012, 10:56:43 PM I think the whole movie is there. It's like the Free Willy trailer.
They may not have revealed all the jokes, but they've revealed the whole plot. Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Rasix on November 10, 2012, 11:15:27 PM This should be in Movies, not sure how I managed to drop it here... Thanks to Rasix for moving... I'd love to take credit, but some other mod took care of it. ;D Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Riggswolfe on November 10, 2012, 11:29:57 PM This looks like it doesn't take itself too seriously and is a nice twist on the typical zombie movie. I don't see the problem with it. Sure, zombies cured by love is cheesy but the trailer makes it clear that this is not a Romero style 'serious' zombie movie.

Well it is from the people that brought us Twilight. Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Tannhauser on November 11, 2012, 06:19:23 AM Well, why didn't you say so in the first place??? SOLD.
Eh, I watched the trailer and felt like I saw the movie from it. Decent twist on the zombie genre. Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: HaemishM on November 12, 2012, 09:50:00 AM That actually looks pretty damn funny. Not one I'll see in the theater, but I'll rent in on DVD.

Really cute movie actually. Cordry and Hoult did a good job in this one. Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Llyse on June 09, 2013, 08:41:35 PM Saw it on the plane and enjoyed it, would watch it again with a suitable partner
Title: Re: Warm Bodies Post by: Bunk on June 09, 2013, 10:44:24 PM Cute would be a good way to describe it. Not the best thing ever, but it was enjoyable. It's a silly romcom with a twist. Most of the plot's pulled directly from Shakespeare (other than the zombie stuff).
After seeing Skins fairly recently though, its tough to watch him and not assume his character is going to be a complete asshole. I'm also embarrassed to admit that I recognized a supporting actress from Americas Next Top Model. |
