Title: Well, that's one way to advertise your MMORPG (possibly NSFW)

The game describes itself as "2.5D Great graphics,PVP-SLG-SIM Hybrid MMORPG Game", whatever that means. Also:

I don't want to play this crappy game but I do agree that I deserve an orgy today.

Why, you ask?

Tosses head.

Because I'm worth it

That was actually coming up on the AdSense ads on one of my blogs. Intrigued, I clicked on it and watched their trailer video. ZOMG. So full of Engrish win.

Gameplay wise, it looks like Heroes of Might and Magic.

That fucking Evony game, the best part was it was a 100% generic browser game with build farms to get swordsmen bs gameplay. It probably would have been a better game if the t&a banners had had anything to do with the actual game.

No, it is intentionally flat so you can set your beer on it while she is fellating you.

To be fair, now this game that almost none of us would have even known existed, has a thread talking about it.

So the blatant pandering is working to some degree  :why_so_serious:

Eh, we've been seeing that since Firiona Vie.

Eh, we've been seeing that since Firiona Vie. Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, Keith Parkinson, Larry Elmore and Jeff Easley defined Fantasy artwork.

Far older than Firiona. Hell, it may be older than the artists I listed.

If anything things are going to move more in that direction than away from it, hot chicks sell that's not gonna change.

You must have missed the "We're Different (Except Exactly Like WoW)" launch marketing.

Eh, let's give them credit, the skank factor is actually ratcheted way up from WoW.

This doesn't shock me much. Rift had my lady warrior in a chain mail bikini before you could get out of the newbie zone.

Something else:   Before we go getting all huffy and white knighting, let's not forget that there are in fact women who want the ability to dress their avatars like this and no; they're not all just begging for attention.  Xanthippie was one complaining that the Dark Elves in WAR didn't tramp it up *enough* and my wife has had similar complaints about the current robe designs in WoW.

Should it be the focus and only mode? No. Should it be an option? Yes.

There's a difference between providing some trampy dress up outfits in game, and slathering it all over your marketing materials.

Also I cannot roll my eyes hard enough at the term 'white knighting'. It's a classic 'don't attack the actual point being made, attack the motives of the person making it' thing. Don't do it, it has never helped anyone's argument ever.

Also your wife needs to embrace transmog. It's not like there's a huge shortage of trampy cloth armor in WoW.

Oh, she's embraced it quite well.  Her current outfit is the black mageweave, much like hundreds of other casters out there.    Cloth is the area lacking most in the bare skin category unless you saved some choice quest rewards for the last few years or enjoy the woolie leggings look of some of the low-level pieces.   If you threw-out your abyssal cloth pants of restoration from BC, you can't get them back (or even get them for new chars as the quest was removed. )

http://www.icy-veins.com/transmogrification-mage-cloth-legs-item-model-list-wow

She's jealous of some of the choices plate and chain wearers get for tops and legs.  There's a large variety there from the Glorious armor through the Hero's armor there's simply a better choice and range of skank to sexy.
