And holy fuck Laura Allen does not look 38, i looked her up on IMDB because i thought she looked way too young for the role and my jaw hit the floor.

Police work takes a distant back seat to character drama and world-design, and I have absolutely no idea how they sustain the premise for more than a season... but it's an impressive ride.

Better to have one great season (which they did) than to watch this bury itself in complex plotting, unnecessary extensions, and awkward repetition. I think I'll pick it up on DVD and loan it out to my friends who missed it.
