What you do for the first 5 floors is exactly what you do for the next 100+ floors, just slower. When you are waiting a day between floors being built and all that's to do is wait for progress bars to ding so that you can sell stuff in your shops, well, it isn't fun.
Your Tiny Tower inhabitants having birthdays was a nice touch though. Or seeing someone visiting a floor dressed as a chicken. But the thrill doesn't last. They had some nerve complaining about Zynga copying their mechanics when all they did was breed Farmville and Yoot Tower.
