Well, see, I was the guy who got the girl. Until her dad revealed an affair and left. Just when I was needed, I developed glandular fever (mononucleosis). Way cool.  My dad worked on (very minor pieces of) that.  And on the Apollo rocket and Skylab.  Not bad for the son of a dirt-poor dirt farmer from Texas.

I love the ol' early 80's hypothetical ops manuals.  I used to have one for the proposed L5 space station.  Cool stuff.
