So, PC Gamer is on Steam now(free beta currently). Its not just pdfs of the magazine, it is a new kind of interactive media thing. I'm kind of interested in how this goes. I downloaded the beta last night and poked around a bit. It was kind of interesting, but in the end I think I'm too old fashioned for it and would prefer to just read the actually magazine. Then again, I still a real newspaper delivered every day :awesome_for_real: Anyway - I think its neat they are trying this and I'll be at least keeping an eye on it if for no other reason than purely academic interest. Lucky bastard. I remember in those days neglecting our work in science class in favor of devouring the latest PC gamer mag, featuring Quake 2 or Monkey Island 3 on the cover. The teacher was not amused, but we were. Again, lucky bastard, and I hope this goes well, for his sake.

Especially when it comes to tech. Most people sufficiently interested in tech/gaming topics to buy magazines are going to be able to get that info online.
