I stopped caring about my postcount a LONG time ago. I can make it show zero all the time if you'd prefer that.

I don't get the deal with postcount++. I'm pretty ashamed myself. Want to cut mine in half? Better yet, spread the wealth.

On some previous iteration of a community site, someone came up with postcount++ as, I guess, some allusion to some programming language that used ++ for integer value increases or someshit.

Basically, it was a geek way of ending a useless post that contributed little to nothing, but nonetheless increased postcout, when forums still gave different titles based on postcount.

I think he was saying he didn't get the deal with posting just to increase ones own postcount...  And that he was rather embarressed at the large number of posts he has already amassed.  Which I can understand.

I love being peenless.  It's always an ice breaker at cocktail parties.  I once had a nice conversation about how wonderful it is to have female genitalia... but then Waterthread split in half and Ray left.

Actually, in the original thread I didn't use that phrase at all.  It seems, however, most American's have serious problems with that other word.  (you know... the one you call all your friends down at the pub)  I even received some emails regarding it.
