Three Ring's new actiony lobby-based dungeon crawler. Same deal as others like it, you get X amount of energy a day to run dungeons, can RMT more or trade in-game currency to another player for it. This one is done in a cutesy Zelda-esque style, complete with picking stuff up and throwing it, and a 'hearts' health system. It's kind of neat to screw around with so far. Title: Re: Spiral Knights Post by: justdave on April 11, 2011, 11:15:03 PM Zelda meets HG:L. I like it! It's initially interesting, at least.
I am curious, though, where did they advertise this? If I didn't read Three Panel Soul, I never would have known. Title: Re: Spiral Knights Post by: kildorn on April 12, 2011, 08:53:25 AM I like this, though the cash shop things are a bit heavy for me. Mostly in that to progress past a certain point, someone needs to be shelling out cash on a regular basis, just due to how their crafting system works.
It also seems to be impossible to play this for more than an hour without capping out your free usage. Title: Re: Spiral Knights Post by: pxib on April 12, 2011, 12:56:39 PM The art absolutely reeks of McConville (http://threepanelsoul.com/). I'll give it a go.

Seems like the kind of game where if it didn't have the free cap I'd probably get burnt out within the first few days. Defiantly a game to play with friends, some of the Skull rooms are a bit ridiculous.Title: Re: Spiral Knights Post by: Quinton on April 14, 2011, 02:49:26 AM I'm enjoying it. Love the art (I also found out about it via 3PS) design. Bought $5 of currency over the weekend to do a bit of binge playing rather than just an hour or two a day.
