Title: Total War Collection
Post by: NowhereMan on March 11, 2011, 11:19:29 AM
Whole collection with Shogun 2 £39.99, also Shogun 2 pre-orders come with TF2 items.

Most importantly Rome: Total War now £1.25. If for some reason you haven't played this at this price there's no excuse not to. I've bought it just to have the game on Steam because it'll be easier next time I have to wipe down the contents of my hard drive.

Yeah, I just noticed this too, and picked up R:TW for $2.50. I also own it already, but it's worth the pocket change to get the Steam version.

I am not sure why, but for me R:TW was the pinnacle of the series. I just haven't enjoyed its successors as much (although god knows, I keep buying them all.)

Absolutely the best of the series.   I just bought it for myself to replace the disks and another copy for my brother.

Does anyone know if the numerous mods for M2:TW have gotten to the point where they play nicely with the steam version? If they could iron that stuff out I would buy the whole series on Steam (even though I have a CDs for Rome and M2, and M2 on steam, I think).

I played MTW 2 with the 'lands to conquer' mod a few weeks ago, worked without a hitch.

Never played the series, but $2.50 for M:TW2 I'll give it a shot for sure.

Looking at the TW complete pack, but I noticed that it doesn't include the Alexander pack for Rome or Kingdoms for MedII. So it'd cost an extra $10 on top...

Need to really think about it, now..

It appears that we did, indeed.
