Title: alive and missing you Post by: Arcadian Del Sol on February 04, 2005, 07:44:23 PM yes, you.
I resolved my domain hosting issue. Nothing by way up any substance since December 04 when said issue reached its heady boil. To summize: 1. wife has enjoyed two birthdays this month: her 35th and her 1st, the latter being a very important milestone in her recovery. Thanks for all your prayers and warm wishes. 2. email is now back in service (see prologue above) and seems to have shed away the 150+ spam-per-day ratio. I miss email. 3. still GM for a Chick-Fil-A and still loving the job. I'm part manager, part mentor and its really great being able to enjoy a 2nd adolescence, albeit surrogately. 4. Halo 2 clan: Chief-Fil-A. open to memberships and challengers. Love and Rockets, RKDN Title: alive and missing you Post by: Murgos on February 04, 2005, 07:56:19 PM R u ghey?

Shockeye's an admin now. Joe left to be an editor for Warcry. We started having advertisements and completely redid the front page. I hope insurance covers the heart attack you just experienced. Title: alive and missing you Post by: Shockeye on February 04, 2005, 08:19:56 PM Yes Arcadian, I'm still a nitwit regardless of what color my name is.
Congratulations to both you and your wife. Very happy to hear about your wife. Other than that I have no idea what you're talking about. Title: alive and missing you Post by: SirBruce on February 04, 2005, 08:53:06 PM Good to have you back Arc. You were gone longer than my ban!
Bruce Title: alive and missing you Post by: Calantus on February 04, 2005, 08:57:23 PM Just yesterday I wondered when you would be posting again as I opened up Shockeye's Useless News. I must of course claim all responsibility for your return.
Glad to hear about your wife. Title: alive and missing you Post by: Azaroth on February 04, 2005, 10:08:39 PM Really great to hear that your wife is going well, Arc.

WB. Title: alive and missing you Post by: Jacob0883 on February 06, 2005, 08:06:37 AM Welcome back. Have your heard, or have any idea what happened to Vulcan and Dashhammer? They used to post on your site a ton.
Title: alive and missing you Post by: Hanzii on February 06, 2005, 02:40:04 PM I still don't know what Chick-fil-A is or understands the name.
But I do understand the wife part (mine's a year younger and pregnant and very healthy - but with bad hearts running in her familyI. I'm glad she's well. Title: alive and missing you Post by: Signe on February 06, 2005, 03:04:10 PM I think it's a cute way to say chicken fillet, although I'm not entirely sure. It's my guess. In the US they say 'fillet' more like the French and less like the Brits. They also drop the 'H' in herb so when you say, "I'm picking herbs", you know they mean parsley and not men named Herbert.

Quote from: Hanzii I still don't know what Chick-fil-A is or understands the name. Fast food joint, specializing in Chicken (But not a fast food restaurant of the McDonald's variety. It's actually good stuff). Title: alive and missing you Post by: SirBruce on February 06, 2005, 06:17:31 PM The best part of Chick-Fil-A isn't the chicken, it's the cross-cut waffle fries:
(http://www.chickfila.com/images/fries.jpg) Bruce Title: alive and missing you Post by: Paelos on February 06, 2005, 09:25:25 PM And the lemonade. Dear me that's good stuff.
Title: alive and missing you Post by: Arcadian Del Sol on February 06, 2005, 09:44:29 PM Chick-Fil-A is a "quick service restaurant" that sells no fish and no red meat. Just various forms of grilled or fried chicken. "Fast food" is kind of a slur.
And its the iced tea that really sells. But the best part about being a General Manager for them is: every.sunday.off. Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: Soukyan on February 07, 2005, 05:27:23 AM Welcome back, Arc. Glad to hear you and your wife are doing well.

Yup, I love my local Chic-Fil-A. Although, I get cravings on Sundays! Fuck, and right now, damn you bruce! Oh, and grats to you wife, my dad just had his 3rd b-day, so we're going strong! Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: WayAbvPar on February 07, 2005, 09:38:20 AM WB RKDN. Glad things are going well.
Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: Paelos on February 07, 2005, 09:57:07 AM I made the trip because of this thread. I like the grilled chicken club, it's really good. Oh, and the new option of getting fruit instead of the fries is great for my diet. Cheers on the people at the top for that call. Now, if I could only get the side salad sub as well, it'd be perfect.
Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: schild on February 07, 2005, 10:05:18 AM I think I may have to go visit RKDN's chick-fil-a this week. I have a craving.
Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: HaemishM on February 07, 2005, 12:45:24 PM Glad to have you back, Oh Wearer of Many Hats. It's been often (at least once a week) in your abscence that I've gone to your site looking for any news of your whereabouts, only to be alternately assualted with Vidalia something or other real estate, site not found and other wacky non-Arcadian shit.
Good on you, and your wife. May she have many more birthdays, and you as well. Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: Rasix on February 07, 2005, 02:43:27 PM Glad your wife is doing well (being newly married that sort of thing scared the crap out of me). Welcome back, many things have changed and many are the same as it ever was.
I'm also glad you're liking your job. Jesus Chicken is one of my favorite places to eat at the mall. Title: Re: alive and missing you Post by: Lunkwill_Fook on February 14, 2005, 02:49:46 PM Hello, Arc. I attack you with love!
