MERRY CHRISTMAS BITCHES, LET'S GET FUCKED UP!

Check.

Gotta love getting blasted with the relatives and then being hogtied to church with a blazing hang over. I may have a beer before my mother puts me in the trunk of the car.

I got a plastic tube filled with plastic penguins. And a picture of a sexy nekkid girl. And no, you may not see or play with either. Anyone else get awesome loot?

Is the picture of the sexy nekkid chick with the plastic penguins in the tube?

Title: Re: Merry Christmas
Post by: Segoris on December 25, 2010, 09:23:45 AM
I was thinking that it may be a picture of sexy plastic female penguins

For my loot, a bottle of Absolut (white elephant), $50 Visa (secret Santa), and a remote starter from the family because it's the first thing I've actually asked for in almost a decade. Pretty damn good year.

Merry Christmas, or whatever tickles your fancy.

This year, I got a fushigi ball.

Got woken up by a text from my ex trying to be playfully casual about it being Christmas.

I refer you to the NO GIRLS ALLOWED thread.

Fuck women.

Merry Christmas.

What the hell does that even mean ?  Is she fishing for presents or what ?

Title: Re: Merry Christmas
Post by: schild on December 25, 2010, 12:16:23 PM
No, she's a girl. I have absolutely no reason to believe she has thought through her plan today given she didn't even think through the breakup.

As we have women here, I'll refrain from being a total misogynist whether or not an entire gender deserves it sometimes.

You don't have to convince me.  I'm still annoyed at someone elses woman right now.

My grandfather used to say ... "Women ... if they didn't have a pussy, there'd be a bounty on 'em" ...

Merry Christmas.

Late to the party - but Merry (late) Christmas!  Or Yule, or whatever.

Got some nice gifts from the family.  Also got to enjoy my one nephew playing with my dog and seeing which one would come out on top (hint - not the nephew most of the time).  Also got to laugh at the same nephew chasing the laser pointer dot around the floor while the dog stared at him going "WTF?!  That's my toy!"  And then the nephew and dog panting at each other from exhaustion.  Four year olds can be amusing but I'm glad he went home with his parents, lol!  That kid was way too wound up last night.

I got front row tickets to see Buddy Guy at the Egg. Somehow I didn't get an alert on those from the Egg or Ticketbastard, and my fiancee learned my trick of getting tickets directly from the box office, for the total win. Also gave me a footstand so I can now practice classical guitar in proper form.

Parents gave me enough money to cover firewood for next season. Overall a great xmas.

Highlight was probably the cat diving into the pile of presents and pulling out his wrapped catnip, playing with it, then passing out on it.

Not a physically huge haul this year, which is nice since I run out of places to put stuff.  I got a good pile of Steam games, some music, what looks to be an excellent book on classic cocktails, a digital photo frame, a subscription to Commonweal, a comfy flannel shirt, and the first installment in a series of postcard-sized paintings of SF landmarks (the artist is going to be mailing more to me as she completes them).

It's actually been a pretty awesome Christmas for various reasons and in spite of other various reasons.

I got a crock pot, a Le Creuset frying pan two cook books and some Star Wars cookie and pancake cutters.

I like to cook.

Edit:  Oh, and I forgot the best one-  a new food processor.

A bottle of Rocha Man a couple of books and some pre-Christmas presents of some awesome cook books (I feel the  of ghost's gifts) as well as some help paying for a new car from my parents. A good haul that really doesn't compare to getting to spend Christmas with my family, especially somewhere really nice.

Socks & Boxers.

A gift certificate to Last Exit to Nowhere.

A painting from my mom.

2001 on blu-ray.

Not a bad haul.

I know someone who would love that Linux t-shirt. I'll have to keep it in mind.

We tend to just wrap everything up that we buy ourselves from about Nov onwards, then open it on Christmas with fake surprise and smiles. Though we do sneak in a few unexpected things for each other, and we buy more stuff than usual over this time, in a "let's get ourselves that" kind of way.

Lots of stuff. I'd seem like (even more of) a wanker if I posted it all, but one cool thing I got was an almost 1:1 Alien (Giger) skull in resin. Going to open up the last thing tonight. She thinks it's a shelving unit, but it's the Logitech GH drum kit. Hope she likes!

If someone got me a shirt with *nix cheats on it, I'd be insulted.  Unless, of course, they were very, very good cheats and it was a very, very large shirt.  Virtual I/O makes me frown sometimes.

Instead I got a box of On The Road movies, a specialty cooking pan, and some very sharp knives.  Also a bag of "coal" which is actually tasty chocolate.

My son got me a HUGE calculator.  It's a simple calculator, doing +, -, /, x, and that's about it, but it's a tad larger than an iPad.  It's cool.

I too got a Le Creuset frying pan!

Also, a painting from my sister, socks, bed sheets and some other odds and sods.

I got a silly flying disk gun, because my mom knows I'm a 40 year old little boy.  :awesome_for_real: Also some goodies. Cookies and crackers packages. 3 second hand books, two of them Heinlien books.

My mom went nuts on my cousins kids this year, who were set to have a welfare christmas until I intervened and set people straight.

The devil's tower shirt they have is better than the one I got for actually climbing devil's tower.

I would spend so much money there if the shirts were just a little cheaper and the shipping wasn't so expensive to the states.
