Worth buying a copy for my wife? I'm always trying to find games for her to play and like that don't involve logging into Facebook first, just don't have much luck. Although she does seem intrigued by KotOR that I bought her when it was on sale. Really, if you like monkey island or adventure games at all.. this is a flat out steal. Better than anything you'll see even on a Steam Christmas sale. Title: Re: Sale - Tales of Monkey Island Complete Post by: Xuri on October 14, 2010, 07:47:07 AM Each episode by itself is easily worth $5.
Title: Re: Sale - Tales of Monkey Island Complete Post by: trias_e on October 14, 2010, 08:59:21 AM Wow, this is a great deal.
Starts off decently but perhaps not great. However, gets quite good at ep. 3 IIRC and carries that momentum all the way to the finish line. Title: Re: Sale - Tales of Monkey Island Complete Post by: Zetor on October 14, 2010, 12:50:10 PM Purchased... thanks for the heads up!
How long are the episodes (approx)? Title: Re: Sale - Tales of Monkey Island Complete Post by: Merusk on October 14, 2010, 04:41:45 PM According to my Steam history, I played each episode about 3 hours, and I didn't cheat to solve things. It was worth it when I paid $15, so $5 is indeed a huge steal.
Title: Re: Sale - Tales of Monkey Island Complete Post by: jakonovski on October 15, 2010, 03:53:44 AM I bought the set for double the price a while back, and have only played the first episode for about ten minutes. It was because I wanted to play the enhanced version of Monkey Island 1 and 2 first. I haven't done that either. I'm such a dumbass.
