Apparently you can now sue people you don't know about yet for damages they have not yet caused you.

It reminds me of a quote from a popular Swedish entertainer, made after a cancelled show which the organizer refused to refund: "Even a cancelled show is still a show."

Of course, the RIAA has been filing lawsuits for years based on damages they can't prove have even happened, so why the fuck not?
