Quite awhile ago I stumbled onto a website/program for the Mac that let you list your CD and DVD collection, and filled in pictures of a "shelf" with the boxcovers of the titles you owned. I didn't run a mac anymore at the time, and so I never used it. It seemed pretty good, as I think it could look up different "versions" of DVDs.

I'm wondering if there's similar for the PC and modern media (360, PS3, PC, Wii, Blu-Ray, DVD, etc) that anyone here uses, and if so if it stores the information online or offline? It seemed like something that could be useful for insurance in concert with receipts and photos of your collection rather than total wank material, especially if it stored your item list online (obviously without your name, address, realID etc).

Obviously you could just make a Google Docs document, but I'm wondering if there's anything with shiny images out there like the application I saw back in the day.

Sounds like you were using Delicious Library (http://www.delicious-monster.com/) (which is quite good) or something similar.

If you just want games, you could try Sisimizi Game Catalog (http://www.sisimizi.org/).

LivingSocial may be close, but I think the it connects through Facebook or something.

Thank you - Looks like Delicious Library was it. Surprising to see that it hasn't been ported to the PC, but then again from a quick readthrough of the page, the writer looks like a MacSnob and general wanker and would rather keep his cool toy for his fellow cultists. (since I'm sure if he'd wanted to, he could have ported it to the huge PC audience in the last.. oh, 10 years or so)
