Several bad Bond games and 13 console FPS filled years later, when FPS on a console is no longer a novelty. About the only interesting thing about this project is that they're doing basically the same story, but inserting in Daniel Craig in as Bond and reworking the story as needed to fit his portrayal. Goldeneye did not age well. Slow, slow game. Boring weapons. No jumping. Ye gods! The only good thing was the prox mines, which are still awesome. Turok 2 faired better. To anyone who had played FPS on PC's at the time Goldeneye came out, Goldeneye was slow, boring, ugly and did I mention boring? 4-player split screen might have been revolutionary for consoles, but it made for shitty gameplay.
