Title: Xbox cable help? Post by: WindupAtheist on May 31, 2010, 11:59:02 AM So my kid brother has his original Xbox hooked up again so that he can play games that won't run on the 360. Thing is, the circuit breaker on the power cord pops constantly, making it impossible to play. There's nothing wrong with the electricity. A stereo, television, and up until recently an old NES all run perfectly off the same outlet.
What should I tell him to do? Can he get a cord somewhere cheap that doesn't have a circuit breaker? Nothing else ever seems to need one right on the cord. Title: Re: Xbox cable help? Post by: Morfiend on May 31, 2010, 12:04:58 PM I dont know what cord it is exactly, try this?

Title: Re: Xbox cable help? Post by: MisterNoisy on May 31, 2010, 10:45:39 PM They had problems with the original XBox starting fires, so later units have a circuit breaker/interrupt like hairdryers do. People with the older units could mail in for it.
That said, what Morfiend said. |
