Title: Sprite Libraries Post by: Ghambit on April 13, 2010, 10:15:54 AM Anyone have any good online sprite libraries I can pillage? So far, all the ones I've found are "pokemon" style. I'm looking for something more mature... more flesh tones and less cartoony.

Better idea may be to use something now, and cruse deviant art or some such and see if you cant find a bored pixel artists to make you some. Deviant Art... thanks for the reminder. Yah, if I have to pay a few bucks for a nice library that's ok too. Like Schild says, there's definitely an Art to spriting... I just dont have the time to play with it. As for what I'm doing, it's a secret. :grin: Nah, I'm trying out this new 2d MMO game engine I found - shows a LOT of promise. I'll post about it if it bears fruit, but so far it's the best one I've played with short of the ones that require heavy raw coding.
