Italian pbbg that came out like last week and I fooled with it a bit. It's pretty much a hybrid fantasy-medievel RTS. That is, the game still runs even though you log off. Movements are pretty much in real time, only build orders take a decent amount of time to complete. What I like about it is the talent trees and spellcasting elements. Also, it lends itself well to guild play since you can actually get stuff done while you're online. Offline, you're not too terribly vulnerable either (I believe it's impossible to wipe someone). I has a pretty decent feel. It's hex-based, which I like and lends itself to fighting over territory and position-planning, along with ranging, etc. Decent game, although a tad cheesy (hey, it's Italian). I cant play this weekend due to the holiday, but lemme know how it goes. (sorry my "review" isnt more in-depth, but no time and I wanted to get it out b4 the holiday). If you play, be sure to list your server and where you set up shop, unlike other pbbg you have full control over your location and the worlds are pretty big |
