Title: Spring/Easter/Whatever festival
Post by: Azazel on March 29, 2010, 04:23:52 AM
It's on at the moment - is there an online guide somewhere similar to the christmas one?

I don't seem to have gotten a letter in my inventory like previously, which is a shame for people who are new and don't know where the usual festival areas are.

1. tavern in the bottom of Thorin's Hall
2. Party Tree up the hill from Hobbiton
3. Festival Grounds north of Bree-town, which is actually kinda hard to find

Also, the festival horse guy is missing, so you can't trade your mount tokens for a spring horse.

This year's Spring Festival is at that Elven place - Duiolland? Or something like that.

How could I forget Whack-a-Shrew?  That one was kind of hard to find.  There is a new cave entrance just south of the dance area, where those two elves and the bird are lounging around.  Took me ten minutes to notice it even with the quest-ring on the mini-map.

Casual Stroll to Mordor has a festival guide up. (http://www.casualstrolltomordor.com/2010/03/spring-festival-quest-guide/)

Really nice horse this year. Painful that it's bugged right now.

Thanks for that. The whole thing looks like way too much bullshit to waste my time on. I'd get the horse if it wasn't bugged, but after all the time I wasted over my real Christmas break doing the LOTRO Christmas stuff, I'm not real keen to get stuck in. Except for the horse.

The costume stuff is pretty lame as well.

I mostly agree but I like the long-sleeve spring suit.  Dyed it navy.  Hard to find stuff that looks good on a dwarf that isn't heavy armor.

I'm going to try to get a notch up on the Inn League reputation, otherwise not much to get.  Got the /fishslap and only /dance_man2 left, besides the horse I don't care for much of it.

Tried some of it yesterday. I found it annoying tbh.

Dresses aren't proper dwarven attire?

When does this end?  I haven't logged in for weeks as busy at work.

I don't have a nice one.  Previous dress looked like it was made from drapes stolen from Bag End.

Seems the free travel is already over, festival continues.

I might get the tunic and pre-get the mats for the horses actually. Is the tunic tradeable like the Christmas outfit was?
