The Jersey shore is many parts, from the little bits I've seen of the show, it seems to be mostly Asbury Park on north.

The show is mesmerizing. I came in expecting to hate these guys, they're pretty much caricatures of real human beings, but I've been having too much fun watching them to stop.

I think people are confusing badass with bad taste, it's a common misconception really.

This show is horrifying shit about subhuman, yet self important retards. From what I could tell they're stupid, racist pieces of shit with even dumber self-given nicknames. They're a bad SNL skit that happens to exist in the real world. The one guy looks like he's in his late 30's and he's still acting like that? For once I won't say that people watching this show are stupid pieces of shit, but water seeks it's own level and all that...

There were several times where one or another of them commented on Italians being the master race and all others being inferior. Sort of reminded me of the Sopranos where they go to Italy and the actual Italian think they're idiots for butchering Italian words and what they consider "Italian" food. So anyway, not screaming about the "darkies" sort of racist, the even lower "If you're not XXXXX, you're not shit" kind.

I managed to make it through about 12 minutes of the season finale. I hate criticizing something without at least a cursory knowledge of it.
