We are blocking off the cul de sac and having a block party. This might be my best new years ever, for the sake of simplicity. No babysitters or driving needed!

Had a half-day. Not doing anything, as pretty much everyone I know down here is still in training, and since the training facility is closed until next week, they've all been out of town.  :|

You're lucky.  I can't think of a single neighbor that I like enough to give up an evening for.

Wife and I keeping it quiet. The run up to Christmas with two young kids just drains us every year. By New Years, we're struggling to give a shit :-) Some massive dental work for her the other day (years of avoidance) isn't helping, but that's just a convenient excuse.

I am sick as a dog after flying back across the country yesterday.  But on a good note my house closed so I no longer own it or have to deal with it anymore!  Yay for starting the new year off on a good foot!  Just going to order some pizza and get to bed early tonight.

I've either got a sinus infection, or just some kind of head cold. My trash is full of Kleenex and sudafed packages. Chances are I'll be spending the night watching Kurosawa movies in bed.

Spending the evening slacking and hacking on living room A/V goodies.  Finally bought a receiver and some speakers to round out the new living room.

May 2010 bring much goodness and maybe some MMOs that suck less or something.

I went to bed at around 9 or so.  I dragged myself back downstairs just before midnight to kiss the hubby and kitties Happy New Year then dragged myself back to bed. They repaid me by pouring cement into my face while I slept.  I know it must have been them because there's no one else about.  God, I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come!   :ye_gods:
