$7.49 weekend deal. I liked the demo, ymmv. I like games under $10.

Story arc is lameolicious and the game play is a LOT of work with needlessly fiddly EXACT timing moves that have to be done sequentially or you fail. And if you fail, you get knocked back down to the bottom of whatever cliff you're trying to scale and lose about 3 minutes of fairly arduous labor. Not because every moment of those 3 minutes is pure twitch, but because you do have to concentrate on each move. I played about 1/3rd of the game and ended up entirely exhausted by it.

That said, the graphics are spectacular and there's gravity-boobz physics. YMMV.

I wouldn't really play this kind of game straight through anyway. Even in the demo there were some long segments that were fun to figure out, but ultimately frustrating with a wrong jump at the very top. Nice for a change of pace and being under $10. Mostly the under $10 and I haven't played the franchise since the original (which we used to play round-robin drunktroller style).
