Title: Shit! I missed the adventurer's pack combo.
Post by: Azazel on November 20, 2009, 11:23:46 PM
I've been that busy with work for about the last month, I haven't been on LoTRO at all, and forgot to get the Adventurer's pack. Actually, I thought we had until the end of Nov to get it, so imagine my happiness when I got onto my account today to purchase it, and it's gone. Well, gone until it's re-released with the expansion as a seperate $20 purchase.

Anyone know if the Goat was a limited bonus, or if it'll be in all of the Adventurer's packs?

I have a sick mind and I just spit coffee on my expensive G15 keyboard.

It's a good goat and I like it. You know how hard it is to find a good goat.

Topic: I honestly have no idea.

That pack was good marketing.  I was tempted to buy it even though I don't even want to play the game.

You know you want to play. You could spend quality time with Mr Bloodworth!

AFAIK, its was a pre-order bonus only. Its does not come with the regular pack. On the plus side, you get a mount at 20 when SoM goes live.

Anyone know if "Very Slow" is faster than a Guardian can walk? :oh_i_see:

It's around the same speed as a hunter's runspeed buff.

Neat.  Is there a "Slow" and "Normal" between "Very Slow" and "Fast"?  Not that it matters a lot since I'm getting the pre-goat.

Heh. I did buy it and haven't played since DA came out. Great marketing, but with all the Steam stuff that poured out the last couple weeks, not sure when I'll ever get back to lotro. The least amount of mmo I've played in years.
