Title: Monetize facebook apps/games?

How is this done?  If the app is embedded then the adds are facebook's not yours right?

The vast majority make money off RMT, not ads. I suppose you could throw adds into the SWF, and tbh, I'm shocked some companies don't given the views they get. There may be some obscure facebook rule forbidding that.

It's micro transactions. App operators are making $50 per 1000 uniques a day. So a 33k unique a day app (the 1 million a month ones) is making $50k a month. They now only publicly report how many uniques a month a app doing though.

The ads on the right are Facebook charging 25 cents a click for someone to click from somewhere on Facebook to somewhere else on Facebook.  With ~30% botted fraud according to one article. :uhrr:
