Title: Rumor: MS may purchase EA Post by: Velorath on September 23, 2009, 03:01:37 PM I'm hesitant to post this just because it seems pretty unlikely, but apparently MS and EA stocks have jumped slightly based on rumors going around that MS is looking to buy EA (http://www.reuters.com/article/innovationNews/idUSTRE58M3CV20090923). I can't really see it happening (and don't think it would be good for the industry if it did happen), but the rumor is getting a lot of attention at the moment.

Like I said, match made in heaven. Too bad EA has like, oh, one great dev team (too much credit to Bioware Edmonton?) and another up and comer (Visceral or whatever that made Dead Space).
