Title: People who died...
Post by: Numtini on September 16, 2009, 08:19:58 PM
Jim Carroll (http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/arts/la-et-carroll16-2009sep16,0,1608675.story) & Mary Travers (http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/09/16/mary-travers-of-peter-paul-and-mary-dies/?hpw). Can't get too opposite than that two. I guess I'm eclectic in musical taste.

I really didn't care for Jim Carroll musically that much.  Kind of sad that he's dead, but I wasn't the biggest fan.  Never read his books or more than a few pieces of poetry, so I don't have much of an opinion there.

Mary going is sad to me as I liked her more.  But having cancer at that age and stage usually doesn't result in many good things.

Yo, I'm really sad about that, I'll let you finish, but Les Paul had the most tragic music death this year.
