The irony is thick like mucus. Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: schild on September 15, 2009, 07:32:35 AM I don't even understand the point he was trying to make. It was lost in a forest of stupid.

No, don't bother. It's over-rated. Wait for NWN, which is a much better game!Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: Teleku on September 15, 2009, 03:37:38 PM I will only buy this overrated game if it furthers the possibility of NWN and Baldur's Gate getting put on Steam, which is terribly unlikely, meatbag. Wait, you didn't like KoToR, but enjoyed NWN? I felt so let down by NWN....Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: gryeyes on September 15, 2009, 05:33:09 PM NWN was so much more than the OC,but both are worth playing through once. I don't think someone who bought a lifetime subscription to HGL can act elitist about value.

He got his money back. Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: Megrim on September 15, 2009, 11:19:56 PM And that makes everything a-ok. KotoR is a good game (along with it's sequel) and is worth buying for that price.
Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: schild on September 16, 2009, 05:58:00 AM I wasn't going to respond to Sky because he's gotten plum stupid over the last few weeks, but since someone else mentioned it.

I felt so let down by NWN....For the record, I hated NWN which is why I've waffled about and still not bought NWN2. Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: Azazel on September 16, 2009, 06:03:41 AM I'd imagine that decent-to-good steam sales of KotOR would pretty clearly lead to KotOR2 being steamed, and so forth, as long as ME, etc have also been selling well.
ask Gabe? Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: Velorath on September 16, 2009, 03:58:26 PM The whole Dark Forces series has just been put up on Steam also. You can get all of them for $19.99. Separately, Dark Forces and Jedi Knight are $4.99 each, the Mysteries of the Sith expansion is $2.99, and Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are $9.99 each.
I can only hope that they put the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games up next. Title: Re: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.99 Euros Post by: WayAbvPar on September 16, 2009, 05:26:49 PM Having never played any of those, I very well may snap them up. I think I will get them for my nephew for Christmas too...he is 7 and completely head over heels for all things Star Wars. Much like his uncle at the same age!

Having never played any of those, I very well may snap them up. Really? None? Wow. DF doesn't hold up to the test of time well, but it was great for when it released. Outcast was a fun game and I should replay it to see if it's better now that my rig doesn't choke on it. Bonus to me that I'll have the "sabers are fucking overpowered" version since it'll be a disk install. :drill: |
