Title: Unpatched XP IE ActiveX flaw being actively exploited Post by: Trippy on July 09, 2009, 04:15:06 AM http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/972890.mspx
There's a flaw in the Windows Video ActiveX control on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 (Vista is not affected) that's actively being exploited. There's a way to turn off the control (workaround described in above link) but if you can follow those instructions you probably aren't the type that was using IE as your default browser anyways. For everybody else, stop using IE until a patch is released.
