http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/05/16/2572319.htm Quote Police arrest suspected bunny killer German police investigating mass killings of pet rabbits in the west of the country say they have arrested a suspect carrying two boxes full of guinea pigs. The 26-year-old, who has not been named, was picked up at 2am (local time) in front of his flat in Dortmund with the guinea pigs of unknown provenance, police said in a statement. "As officers then searched his highly neglected flat they found a large number of animal carcasses as well as living animals. Because of the acute health hazard they had to break off their operation very quickly," the statement said. Two other people living there were taken to hospital for health checks as the fire brigade were called to clean up the apartment with full protective clothing. Dortmund police spokesman Kim Freigang said that 58 dead rabbits had been found in the western German city since January 2008, 31 of them without heads. Others have also been found in nearby towns. Police said they have set up a hotline for people whose guinea pigs have gone missing Title: Re: Rabbit Ripper Post by: Der Helm on May 15, 2009, 08:58:01 PM Good thing they catched him before he refined his technique and moved on to bigger prey.
There still is a so called "horse-ripper" running around. He kills horses with a hunting spear. :ye_gods: Title: Re: Rabbit Ripper Post by: Cyrrex on May 18, 2009, 05:52:47 AM When your guinea pig goes missing, wouldn't you basically just say "the guinea pig went missing. Oh pooh" and just move on with your life? You really need a hotline?
