Ship dates for May and June.  As always, these dates could always change, and I've tried to avoid listing any games that haven't had a release date officially announced.  Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for instance has a June 23rd release date listed on most sites, but I haven't seen Capcom confirm that anywhere, so for now it isn't listed.  More screenshots and possibly more games will be added to the list later.

Edit:  This is also not a complete list, as I'm operating under the assumption that nobody cares when the Up, Terminator, or Transformer movie-tie-in's, Wii shovelware, or sequels like Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (when nobody cared about the first game) release.  Likewise, ultra-niche games like Restaurant Empire 2 might not make it onto the list.

Oh, Cross Edge? Just saw the trailer and that caught me off guard! WTF?!

Wii lineup has a surprising amount of potential with Punch Out, The Conduit, Little King's Story, and the motion plus enabled Tiger Woods game.

Bionic Commando sounds a little underwhelming so far.  Sims 3 will probably sell a shit ton of copies but it's not really my thing.  inFamous, Ghostbusters, and Fight Night 4 seem to be the most likely purchases for me.  BlazBlue has been getting a surprising amount of marketing for an anime styled fighting game (it has a fairly prominent spot on the ebgames.com front page).  Graphics look good, but the gameplay seems a little slow paced for my tastes.

You know how they could cross the gender gap with Sims 3?

The Sims 3:  Porn Studio Adventures.

Film Sims porn, design sets, script the action, hire actors and keep them happy, just kind of do a whole running a porno studio thing but Sims style.  Stick your finished movies, costumes and sets on the internet and let people share them and etc...

That would be because Aksys needs to sell as many of every game as they can. Not to mention they're the distributors for the arcade game in America. They're taking a big risk with BlazBlue and I'm not sure why. It's an OK game. It's no Guilty Gear.

I'm buying Devil Summoner 2 on general principles, but I'm not frothing.  I don't have any major details on #2, but a couple of points:
1) I didn't "get into" the combat of the first one.
2) It's a PS2 title.  I'd like to say that I don't care about this, but I do.

I hate that packaging. Also, I don't think that Raidou Frost will stand on its own. It should've been a 3-4" acrylic.

Given that it comes free if you preorder, might as well do it and sell the plushie later. Wouldn't be surprised if you recouped the 40 usd.

Haven't checked it out a lot, but form what I hear it actually is supposed to be the spiritual successor of GG, apparently they fucked up their previous publishing deal and lost the GG IP. Also, looking at the trailer, I can see at least 4 characters which are really GG characters with new gfx and animations, otherwise exactly the same moves as in GG.

I have been looking forward to Prototype and inFamous.

Ghostbusters is the only title that piques my interest but it'll probably curb stomp my graphics card.

Overlord 2 could be interesting. I'll eventually get the Spore expansion when it's bundled up with more stuff...after I hear they've patched out the irritating "HALP" calls so I can properly play in sandbox mode. With WW gone, I only expect it to get more gamey and less sandbox science kit, so not holding my breath on that one.

Basically nothing on that list going into my shopping cart. Mostly waiting for Dragon Age.

Infamous looks interesting depending on execution. Waiting on reviews/rental for that and prototype. Patapon would be nice if I don't hear about another stupid brick wall difficulty level in the first 20 minutes of the game.  Overlord was a blast, the second is tempting, I didn't realize it was this soon.

I have to say after watching that linked Prototype video I am really amped to play it.

What little I'd heard about Prototype didn't seem very interesting, and after reading this, followed the link with skepticism.

For five minutes I thought little beyond "wow."

Wish it was coming out for PC.

InFamous looks better to me as far as the trailers go.  It will be interesting to see what happens once the reviews start hitting the shelf.

The sequels, butthead. Not the first ones. The first ones weren't alike and neither was a sandbox. Being Western doesn't fall inline with the movie shit. It needs to be more obscure/have more substance than just a base genre to seem even remotely alike. I don't even want to mention that Red Dead Revolver came out in fucking 2004 and CoJ came out in 2007 - which is a fucking eon apart for games, moore's law and all.

So, am I wrong that Prototype will be getting a PC release negating this whole flamewar entirely?  Cause everything I've seen says it's PC as well.  I'll probably get both games for PS3 though.

Overlord 2 will probably be a buy for me, maybe not at release though.  Enjoyed the first one.  And Damnation?  Nobody's mentioned it?  I don't really like Steampunk in general, but I kind of like their take on it.  Maybe there's something horribly wrong with the game I've missed.  Looks kind of fun to me though.

Bionic Commando though.  Wow.  I've wanted a sequel I was like ten or so.  But seeing those vids I couldn't be more apathetic.

It's getting a PC release, but given how the majority of console to PC ports go I'd be hesitant to say that negates anything.  So far it looks like all the hands-on impressions of the game are from the 360 version.

Little King's Story intrigues me, but that video almost convinced me not to buy it.  Worst video ever.

Overlord was a very fun game. Count on my money changing hands for that one too.

Added Red Faction: Guerrilla onto the 6/2 release dates.  I was vaguely aware of it before but it didn't really pop onto my radar until the guys on the most recent Listen UP podcast went crazy over it.  I think it was David Ellis who described the single player game as GTA on Mars, and they mention that the multiplayer draws a lot of inspiration from Tribes.  The destructible environments also sound pretty cool, especially when they were talking about blowing up both ends of a bridge that the enemy team was crossing, causing the bridge and the enemies to plummet down into the chasm below.

They're also keeping me very interested in the UFC game, but I think I might end up waiting for a price drop on that one.

Outside of Ghostbusters and maybe Punch Out that list is pretty bare for what I would want.

My must haves are all portable titles these days.  I still need Dark Spire, FF4 remake, the Klonoa remake (Wii), Samurai Shodown Anthology (Wii), and tons of upcoming DS and PSP turn based strategy and RPG goodness.

Its gotten to the point where I really don't NEED a home console just about as my type of games are more found on the little systems I can shove in my pockets...

Damnation land Overlord 2, I will purchase both of these games.  They look great.  I wish there were more western type of games ala G.U.N. I had a lot of fun with that.

Demo for inFAMOUS went up on PSN yesterday.  Haven't had time to check it out myself yet.

Fight Night Round 4 demo is now up on LIVE for Gold subscribers.
