I myself looked through this graveyard thread many a night wondering to myself, should I take the plunge and try LoTRO?  Afterall, in the last 3 years I have played WoW, Warhammer, Everquest 2, Age of Conan, and most recently, when I was bored of it all, a freeshard's worth of Ultima Online.  I had heard brief mention of this game while playing other games, asserting somehow it was flawed, or not worth the time or effort, but I'm here to say, that's a bunch of bull.  I purchased the full game and expansion for 20 bucks, digital download, then I get 30 days free and of course 9.99 a month for 3 months and I have to say in my week there so far, I am floored with how rich and vibrant the world is.  It is *as* polished as WoW, and has far more depth then any of the other titles I listed.  I can't count how many times I have just stood in town and enjoyed the music and the people running by. 

Now I understand I am new to the game, and perhaps my mind will be changed at some later date, but certainly even a month of this quality of game play is worth what I have paid to play much much worse titles.  So, if you are bored, and reading through graveyard threads trying to figure out which one of these worlds might yet gain your interest for a time, this is definitely it. 

This is a clip thread, isn't it?  If I had subscribed to F13, I would want some free time back for having read it.  Not having subscribed, however, I will just feel cheated and hope that next week's thread is a new one.

Are you still playing?

I am still playing and took out a 3 month sub.  I just haven't logged in for a couple of weeks.  I'll start up again shortly.  (no offense to your short and stubby stature)
