I'd posit that if you are filthy rich and have a whole bunch of hangars-on around you're less likely to get treatment.  Those folks milking you for their living don't want to see the gravy train stop, so they'll indulge you in everything, no matter how depraved.

You can't help someone who does not believe they are broken.

And nobody who's willing to hang around someone so broken is going to tell that person they're broken while getting so many perks.

Man, if Michael Jackson hadn't been a fucking insane :pedobear:, he could have been huge forever. He could have been like Sinatra. He'd just sit in the club while guys like Puff Daddy killed themselves to be seen with him, then sing Thriller and Billie Jean once a year for ten million bucks.

People are going to be making jokes about Michael Jackson long after everybody has forgotten who the fuck Frank Sinatra was.

I doubt it. Those jokes get retold every time a new celebrity pedo comes along, and there seems to be no shortage of celebrity pedos. Give it another decade or so and somebody will be saying the same thing about the next scandalous entertainer.

I agree with WUA (which I've been doing with disturbing frequency of late).  They guy is prodigiously talented.  I think it's a damn shame that he's such a freak and has done all this to himself. 

It's just human nature...
