Title: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Signe on April 18, 2009, 02:35:06 PM HERE (http://www.freakycreatures.com/cpm1v9y99d/index.html?afi=cpm3017)
I haven't tried it yet so don't shout at me if it's so awful you feel dirty after making a character! I just noticed it on the site that should almost never be mentioned. (it's pvp, I think, so at least I know Falconeer will give it a go!) Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Falconeer on April 18, 2009, 02:45:59 PM oh now I'm the PvP weirdo around here?
What happened to Slayerik?! (...downloading...) Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Falconeer on April 18, 2009, 02:49:23 PM Screenshots say this is 3d mybrute. Damn you Signe.
Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Signe on April 18, 2009, 03:45:57 PM There seems to be like 10 people who play this game - and they actually pay for it even though there's like 10 people who play this game! It's cute, empty and no where near even almost cooked.
Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Lantyssa on April 18, 2009, 04:13:59 PM Checking it out. I don't care about the PvP, but the creature making options are forcing me to try.
Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: schild on April 18, 2009, 05:30:29 PM The first creature they show is Cthulhu-esque. Heh. :cthulu:
At least they know their target audience. Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Falconeer on April 18, 2009, 05:48:04 PM Not bad at all...
My first creature is Althetta. Looking forward to destroy some of you freaks. P.S: It's basically Mybrute meets TCGs, in 3d. Not bad at all... Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Lantyssa on April 18, 2009, 06:06:35 PM It really is a prettier mybrute where you have some control over the outcome. Not sure how much I'll play it, but perhaps some as a diversion.
Running around as trainer Lantyssa with purple demonbabe Kali. Should we make a Bat Country lobby? Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Xurtan on April 18, 2009, 10:06:18 PM A cuter more tactical version of My Brute? Ah hell, there goes my night.
Trainer Xurtan with poison based dracon Xenolith or something odd. :oh_i_see: In any event, how do you acquire new monsters? Is there a shop or something I'm missing? Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Signe on April 19, 2009, 10:08:09 AM I don't know. I've only been able to make a cyclops variation. Maybe when I actually start playing it. So far I've only fiddled with it offline. I didn't have time to do anything much. I don't even know anything about lobbies yet!
Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Xurtan on April 19, 2009, 10:21:32 AM Hm, they must assign you a random monster to start with. I started with only being able to use the dracon, and I've seen other people with just simple lv 1 aliens and such. *shrug* You get coins or some such if you win a battle, just not sure what to do with them.
Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: CharlieMopps on April 19, 2009, 02:32:18 PM This is a "Suck money out of your pocket in any way possible" type of game.
You get certain "parts" and "Powers" to build your creature. You only get a few with the starter pack. Then you have to buy all these add-on packs to get more parts and powers. Looks like there's an in-game currency, I don't know if you can buy it outright from them, but I bet you can (or will be able to eventually) Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Signe on April 19, 2009, 06:32:31 PM No point in spending money in this game. There's not even enough people playing to make it last.
Title: Re: Free Trial Diversion Post by: Surlyboi on April 21, 2009, 02:13:12 PM My Pokemans, let me show you them. :awesome_for_real:
