Hell it's one of thoose rare gems where you don't actually have to read their blog of the day just to get where they're comming from. In response to the frequent complaint that the comic makes no sense without the newspost, I heartily recommend actually reading the newsposts. That monologue is very similar to the ranting that Tycho does every day as a matter of course. It's usually funnier than the strip itself. Love it to death, but I do find my self reading out of habit more than entertainment sometimes. Oh, and Schild, don't ever buy a game based entirely on their recommendation. Title: Penny Arcade on Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within Post by: Teleku on December 07, 2004, 09:40:48 PM You know, I looked back over the comics the last few weeks, and didn't see a single one that needed you to read the front page to make sense of it (the twisp and cadsby ones don't make sense if you read the front page either). I have been reading PA for awhile, and am use to them doing comics like that, but quite frankly I think they are an exception and not the rule. Don't know why everybody harks on them for that, as I only see them rarely (and they usually ARE funny half the time when they do).
