Hangame, a famous game portal in South Korea, has signed a licensing agreement with NHN GAMES to publish NHN Games' in house developed MMORPG C9 (Continent of the Ninth). On Oct. 24th, Hangame released some content of the game through C9's official site (http://c9.hangame.com).

There's no way thats real, working and without bugs, etc.  Something must be fucked up because that kinda looks fun.  It must take 10 hours to gain 10% of whatever.

Amusing how the toons can do some seriously fast Kung Fu moves in full plate with a Shield and all.

But does at least look flashy

I noticed some grappling in that too.

Looked good, but the biggest thing that both of those videos were missing is other players.

Still.

I don't buy it. What's the catch?

Catch is, it aint out yet and it's this company's attempt to compete with NCSoft's Blade & Soul.  Actually, damned thing looks EXACTLY like Blade & Soul.

I didn't think it looked anything like Blade & Soul. Well, the art sure as shit doens't. The guy doing Blade & Soul is a damned master. As for the gameplay ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhn, I'd be impressed with them copying it as there's no real way for them to have played it. Also, best of luck to them licensing that for the PS3 :oh_i_see:

That does look fun.  Now, someone wake me up when we can get fighting like that in an mmo.

I was already impressed from the start but at 1:20 when he goes into an air combo and ends it with a pile driver... :Love_Letters:

I've been wondering when someone would attempt putting fighting game mechanics into an MMO. WHen I first heard about AoC I thought they were going this route until I actually read closely how combos would work.

If this game allows pvp they better have cancels and breakers because it's obvious starting a combo in this game makes sure your target can't run away like they do in AoC.
