GalCiv I Ultimate for 3.99, Political Machine 2008 for 3.99, Supreme Commander for 9.99.
Over their attempted Steam competitor, Impulse.

Eh, they take forever to mark stuff down. I've been wanting GalCiv2 for a while, but that "sale" is silly, since it's out in jewel case for the same price. Meanwhile GalCiv2 Gold is still $40! Or through impulse, $10 for GalCiv2 + $30/ea for two expansions? Crazy, especially since you can't find Dark Avatar in stores, so you need Gold + the second expansion. $70 for a game that's coming up on three years old? Meh.

Space Rangers 2 + expansion for $3.99!  I haven't played the expansion yet so I'm all over that shit.  Thanks.

Yah, I had the original I got in the bin, put it on my old pc because I didn't care about the starforce at that point (was building the new pc). Seemed like a cool game, but something shiny distracted me (new pc!). The steam impulse version is starforce-less, right? $4 for something I might never get around to doesn't hurt.

Yep, starforce free.  For $4 you can't lose.

Hmm. . Space Rangers 2, you say?  I'll try it for 4 smackers.

Ooo, Space Rangers 2. I remember that game being fun for some reason. I will obtain it!

After reading this thread, I bought SR2 for six bucks ($AU).

It's okay, but the six bucks is probably the amount of fun I'll get out of it anyway.

If I buy DoW: Dark Crusade on this thing, will it link up with DoW: Soulstorm which I bought through Steam?

Also, selling Titan Quest discounted without Immortal Throne is just silly.

When did a newer version of Defender of the Crown come out?  I played the old one years and years ago when I was a wee lad and it rocked my world then.  I'm curious if this one has changed much beyond the graphics.  I also wonder if playing it now would ruin my nostalgic love of it.

This as well.

I played it on the Amiga in days past, and pretty much have the same question about this new one that I did not know existed.

The Titan Quest deal isn't much of a deal because it doesn't include the expansion.  I think you're still better off getting Titan Quest Gold from Steam at 19.99.

Yes it will ruin your nostalgia.  No do not play it.
